The Litigation Section also works closely with the other sections of the Firm in an effort to aid our clients in avoiding costly litigation by drafting appropriate contractual provisions and by assessing, in advance, the likelihood of litigation or the probable outcome of litigation that may result from a particular transaction or course of conduct. Our attorneys also work with clients to develop, prepare and implement corporate policies and procedures to alleviate or lessen the impact of potential litigation and review corporate operating practices and procedures for problem areas that may increase exposure to litigation.
Personal Injury Defense Group
KRCL's Personal Injury Defense Group has a long-standing reputation for aggressively and efficiently defending cases throughout Texas and the Southwest Region on behalf of insurance companies and self-insured companies. Regardless of the complexity of the matter, we approach all cases from the client's perspective, emphasizing responsiveness and effectiveness.
The KRCL Personal Injury Defense Group has extensive trial experience and expertise. Several of our attorneys and paralegals are Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law.
While the courtroom skills are important, the Personal Injury Defense Group also uses its expertise to reach settlements and avoid litigation costs for its clients. Sometimes traditional litigation is not the best vehicle for resolution of clients' disputes. Identifying those instances in the early stages of litigation and offering viable alternatives, consistent with our clients' goals, is an effective tool utilized by the Personal Injury Trial Section.

Ms. Taylor, a director of the Firm, practices in the Litigation Practice Area. She has tried virtually every type of civil case and has been on both sides of the docket on many different types of cases. She is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and nationally by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in civil trial law. She has taught civil trial and pretrial for the last 21 years. She is a former President of the Houston Bar Association, former President of the Metropolitan Bar Caucus and an Executive Council Member for the National Conference of Bar Presidents.
